Weed Wacker role at West Place Animal Sanctuary
Founded in 2007, West Place Animal Sanctuary is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides lifesaving care, love, and a permanent home to farm animals rescued from cases of abuse, neglect, and cruelty. It is a licensed wildlife rehabilitation center that assists sick, injured, and orphaned animals, and releases healthy wildlife back into their natural habitats. It also serves as the lost dog shelter for the towns of Tiverton and Little Compton.
West Place has a network of 75+ volunteers, who provide essential animal care 365 days a year, and the organization provides unique hands-on humane education experiences to students to cultivate a more compassionate community.
Our healthy soil produces a lot of weeds! We need someone who can come and dedicate their time to weed wacking around the property in areas a mower cannot get to. We have a gas powered weed wacker and can teach you how to properly use and maintain the weed wacker.
