Job Description

The Resident Doctor will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to patients under the supervision of senior consultants. This role involves clinical assessments, patient management, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality healthcare delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Care:

  • Conduct initial assessments, record medical histories, and perform physical examinations.
  • Assist in diagnosing and managing a wide range of medical conditions.
  • Monitor patient progress, update treatment plans, and provide timely interventions.
  • Respond to medical emergencies and deliver appropriate care.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with senior consultants and specialists for effective patient management.
  • Coordinate with nursing staff and allied healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and contribute to clinical decision-making.

Education & Learning:

  • Educate patients and their families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and preventive care measures.
  • Stay updated with the latest medical practices and treatment protocols through continuous learning.
  • Participate in hospital-led training programs and clinical case discussions.

Administrative Duties:

  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including medical history, diagnostic findings, and treatment plans.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, ethical guidelines, and clinical protocols.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, quality improvement programs, and audits.

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong clinical knowledge and proficiency in managing general medical conditions.
  • Ability to handle medical emergencies effectively.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for patient care and collaboration.
  • Commitment to delivering compassionate and patient-centric care.

Experience:

  • 0 to 3 years of clinical experience as a Resident Doctor or in a similar role.
  • Preference will be given to local candidates.
