South Mountain Creamery is a dairy farm family; we bottle our own milk and make our own butter and ice cream. We brought the milkman back in 2001 and have been making home deliveries to the DMV area for 24 years and counting! We are currently hiring for a Home Delivery Driver at our Home Farm location in Middletown, MD!
Candidates for this position must be 21 years of age or older.
Our Delivery Drivers are the driving force of SMC (get it?) – without our Delivery Team, SMC would not be where we are today. It’s a crew made up of self-motivated, safe, and detail-oriented people – are you ready to join us?
The shift for this position is Tuesday – Friday, with a varying start time, depending on the route that is assigned.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Home Delivery Drivers are paid a base rate that is calculated either per stop or per day, depending on the route, and can receive tips from customers. Safe and effective drivers are eligible for monthly bonus pay!
$190 per day base rate, $200 per day bonus rate, or $2.35 per stop base rate, $2.60 per stop bonus rate. The higher rate of per day or per stop will be paid out for that day.
