More specific responsibilities will include:

• Communicate with end users, Field Service Specialists, Clinical Applications and Field Sales representatives to resolve technical problems and answer questions.
• Provide support and escalate issues to the POC Installation and Support Specialists when necessary.
• Enter details of each call including steps taken to resolve problems and/or answer questions into the Pivotal Database.
• Generate Return Material Authorizations (RMA) to replace damaged or defective products and consumables.
• Assist in the training of new Customer Support Specialists.
• On occasion, take part in special projects for customers or the Technical Support department.

Qualifications:

• Minimum High School Graduate with strong emphasis in Laboratory Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, or Electronics. Associates or BS degree preferred.
• A minimum of 4 to 6 years' Customer Support experience is preferred.
• Must be an effective communicator with strong analytical skills.
• Experience with Point-of-Care, Clinical Laboratory, Biotechnology or Research Laboratory settings is a plus.
• A solid understanding of Nova products and core technologies including hardware and software a plus.
