Seasonal Laborer​/Parks and Recreation Department's Parks Division

The Town of Watertown is accepting applications for the position of Seasonal Laborer in the Parks and Recreation Department's Parks Division. The hourly rate of pay will be $16.85 and benefits are not included.

The laborer's general duties include working with hand tools, mowing lawns, weed whacking, snow and ice control; may work with small machines; and may drive trucks as required. This position is under the general direction of the Working Foreman.

The minimum qualifications are average manual dexterity and agility; good physical condition, ability to work with others and the public; ability to follow written and oral instructions.

The minimum requirements are must be physically able to do manual labor and have a current CT Driver's License. Must be able to pass a background check, physical and drug screening. Some familiarity with hand tools.
