Seasonal-Recreation and Parks-Kart Park Leader

Get paid to play! The City of Watertown Park and Recreation Department is looking for summer staff to help with Kart Park.

Kart Park Leaders will be part of a traveling playground for the kids in the City of Watertown!

The Kart Park Leader is responsible for operating the mobile Kart Park Program, which brings recreational opportunities to underserved areas in the community. This role includes planning and facilitating activities, maintaining program materials, and ensuring a safe and engaging experience for participants of all ages.

Minimum Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age, possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record with the knowledge and experience in driving and operating a pull-behind enclosed trailer, including proficiency in backing up and maneuvering in various settings, excellent communication skills, and an ability to work independently to problem solve with experience in working with children in a recreational setting.

This is a weekday position from 12 pm to 3:30 pm and weekends as needed from Late May to August.

Compensation: $16 hourly

Seasonal position with no benefits.
