Pay Rate: $18.00-$25.00/hr + $2.00/hr Shift Premium BOE

Shift: 2nd shift, Mon-Fri, 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Description:

We are immediately hiring in Waukesha, WI for a secondary operationsoperator to be responsible for collecting parts, drilling, punching,grinding, beveling & gathering. You’ll be working Monday through Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Secondary Operations Operator Duties and Responsibilities

• Collect and expedite parts to prepare for the next option.

• Verify the correct quantity and quality of all parts.

• Perform 1st piece and random dimensional inspections with the aid of the hop order packet.

• Operate a sander/grinder to deburr all parts.

• Read, convert and understand metric drawings.

• Perform operations such as; drill, grind, bevel, ream, tap, bore, spot face, etc.

• Select speeds and feeds, tooling and operational sequences best suited to materials and nature of operation.

• Layout and drill using drawings, specifications, templates and job layouts.

• Move material using a forklift and crane according to standard operating procedure, safety regulations and practices

• Additional duties as assigned.

Secondary Operations Operator Qualifications and Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Intermediate Blueprint reading skills and strong attention to details

• Good math skills.

• Experience with drilling, tapping, and grinding, etc.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. when required.
