Job Description
The City of West Bend is seeking a full-time Arborist for the Parks, Recreation, and Forestry Department. Responsibilities include forestry operations, grounds management, equipment operation and maintenance, snow removal, and applying fertilizers and pesticides. Key tasks involve responding to customer requests, managing seasonal staff, storm response, plant selection, pruning, tree removals, stump grinding, and diagnosing plant health issues. Tree climbing skills are preferred but not required.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have an associate degree in a related field or at least three years of full-time experience. Required certifications include a Wisconsin driver's license, CDL Class B, ISA Arborist Certification, and Commercial Applicator for Turf & Landscape 3.0.
Salary/Salary Range
Starting wage is $31.00/hour or DOE.
