About the Role

We’re looking for a Finance & Business Operations Manager to oversee our financial operations, office management, and administrative workflows. In this hands-on role, you’ll manage accounts payable, receivable, invoicing, financial reporting, vendor management, and process improvements. You’ll also supervise our part-time Administrative Coordinator and act as a backup for HR functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage A/R, A/P, invoicing, and cash flow analysis.
  • Prepare and present monthly financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and multi-state sales tax filing requirements.
  • Oversee office operations, including vendor management, supplies, facilities, and company vehicles.
  • Supervise and mentor the Administrative Coordinator.
  • Collaborate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to resolve billing or operational questions.
  • Act as a backup for HR processes, including onboarding and compliance support.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 5+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or business operations, ideally in a small business.
  • Proficiency with Quick Books (required) and ADP Total Source (but not required).
  • Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow management.
  • Knowledge of multi-state sales tax filing.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
  • Experience supervising staff and improving processes is a plus.
  • Experience in Managed IT Services is helpful but not required.
  • Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
