A reputable veterinary practice in Sugar Land, TX is seeking an experienced Veterinary Oncologist to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a compassionate and skilled oncologist who is passionate about advancing cancer care in animals while working in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and treat cancer in animals, providing accurate and compassionate care.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for cancer patients.
  • Provide supportive care to animals undergoing treatment for cancer.
  • Educate pet owners on cancer, treatment options, and the importance of follow-up care.
  • Collaborate with a team of dedicated veterinary professionals to ensure comprehensive care for each patient.

Qualifications:

  • DVM or equivalent degree.
  • Board certification in veterinary oncology (required).
  • At least 5 years of experience in a clinical setting with a focus on oncology.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to educate and engage with clients.
  • A passion for improving the lives of animals and their families through effective cancer treatment.
