A growing veterinary clinic in Laredo, TX is seeking a compassionate, skilled, and dedicated Full-Time Associate Veterinarian to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced veterinarian or a new graduate eager to contribute to exceptional animal care in a supportive and collaborative environment.

About the Clinic: The clinic is committed to providing high-quality veterinary care to a diverse range of patients, including dogs, cats, large animals, and exotics. It boasts advanced surgical services, endoscopy, laser therapy, and a full spectrum of wellness, diagnostic (including ultrasound), and dental procedures. The clinic’s skilled support team ensures that all animals receive the best possible care in a state-of-the-art facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform physical examinations and diagnostic tests on animals.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Administer medications and provide treatments as needed.
  • Perform surgeries and anesthesia.
  • Educate clients on treatment options, pet care, and preventive measures.
  • Maintain accurate medical records.

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school.
  • Current license to practice veterinary medicine in Texas.
  • At least 2 years of experience is preferred, but new graduates are welcome.
  • Strong clinical skills, decision-making ability, and a desire to make a difference in the community.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively educate clients and collaborate with the team.
