Assistant Plant Operator

Role Overview:

Assist in coordinating activities of transportation and material-moving machine and plant helpers. Compute or estimate transportation, personnel, or storage requirements. Direct workers in transportation or related services, such as moving, storing, or loading or unloading of materials. Provide instruction on safety and effectively completing the task. Prepare, compile, and submit reports on work activities, operations, production, or work-related accidents while utilizing computer programs such as Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.

Examine, measure, or weigh cargo or materials to determine specific handling requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
• Or one to three months related experience and/or training;
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Typical hours during Production are M-F 5am-5pm. Typical hours during Maintenance are M-F 7am-3pm. Some Saturdays may be required depending on workload.
