Accademia Riaci:
Founded in 1983, Accademia Riaci is an Academy of Art and Design in the heart of Florence, Italy. We provide quality art and design education in a range of popular subjects to Italian students and international students from around the world.

Our courses include professional one-year master courses, two-year basic courses, one-year / semester programs, internship programs, short courses (including an intensive option and private lessons for students with limited time), and summer courses.

Subjects offered include jewelry design & making, interior design, drawing & painting, graphic design, ceramics, glass art and product design among others. Our two-year basic courses are taught in Italian only. All other courses are offered in Italian or English.

Location and Facilities:

Conveniently located in the center of the old city, Accademia Riaci is between the Duomo and Church of St. Lorenzo, only a three minute walk from the Firenze train station.

From our school, you can hear the bells of St. Lorenzo and from the upper floors, you can overlook the famous Duomo.

A vibrant and cultural city, Florence is home to hundreds of historical monuments, art galleries, and museums.

Spend time hiking in Fiesole, sitting on the walls along the Arno River, reading a book in the sun, or shopping in Mercato San Lorenzo.

You can enjoy the culinary delights of the city - take espresso with the locals at a sidewalk cafe, watch the day's bread being made in a pasticceria, eat an Italian meal in one of the numerous high-quality restaurants, or spend an evening chatting at a wine bar.

On the weekends, you can travel to nearby cities such as Rome, Milan, Pisa, or Siena, or head for the Tuscan beaches.
