 English for Business is a specialist language
training provider in St. Helier on Jersey Island, specialising
in verbal and written communication for
international business. Situated in the English
Channel between England and France, Jersey
Island is a British Crown Dependency off the
coast of Normandy, northern France. Together
with Guernsey and some smaller islands, Jersey
forms what are known as the Channel Islands.

English for Business
teachers are highly experienced in teaching all

Recognising that your time is valuable, our
intensive Business and Financial English
training courses aim to rapidly improve your
skills in using the English language at work.
Choose from a range of courses customized to
your needs. Learn in small groups of fellow
professionals, or on a one-to-one basis (private
lessons).
Our courses all include breakfast and lunch
every day; pick up and return from Jersey
Airport or harbour; all learning materials; teas
and coffees; one evening meal (dinner).

Teaching Method:
• We believe in tailoring the learning
activities to meet the your specific needs. This
is why we never work with classes larger than 8.
(Our average class size is 4).
• We deliver a fun and interesting course,
chock-full of industry specific vocabulary and
idiom that motivates the learner to develop the
language skills they need.

fluency.

• We recommend a minimum of 35 hours of contact
time for students to make measurable progress.
Jersey: Our
unique relationship with the United Kingdom has

town of St. Helier.
Jersey has a long history as a popular tourist
resort. Wherever you are in the island, you are
never more than 15 minutes from the beach, and
over 45 miles of stunning coastline is just
waiting to take your breath away. Jersey is

award-winning cuisine and business-class
accommodation will ensure that your stay is
pleasant as well as productive.
 Activities: In addition to your English
language course, we will be happy to arrange any
of the following activities: abseiling, aerial
trekking, archery, cycling tours, clay pigeon
shooting, coasteering, kayaking, surfing,
windsurfing, diving, golf, sailing,
orienteering, bird-watching, hiking, and more!
Getting to Jersey: Jersey is easy to
reach from any major city in Europe. Flight
schedules can change but, currently, you can fly
direct from Paris, Geneva and Zurich almost
every day. Jersey also has regular flights from
London Gatwick, Heathrow, and Luton. Boats also
sail every day from St. Malo (on the Brittany
coast of France). Connections are inexpensive
and, once you get to Jersey, your transport to
your accommodation and to and from classes each
day is included in the price of the course.
