Home School Academy Social Center:
- Socialization is the number one buzzword when home schooling is the topic. People often express the concern that home schooled children will not be properly socialized because they are not exposed daily to the requirements of living within a public school social group.
- Many people now recognize that the social environment of many (if not most) schools is actually one of the most compelling reasons to educate your children at home. These negative social experiences can include bullying, foul language, unbiblical world views, lack of values, and, in increasing cases, emotional and physical abuse.
- The MorningStar Academy's solution is the safe and electronically monitored Home School Social Center . Children can participate in a safe and protected online environment that allows participation by other registered MorningStar home school students only. Children still must be made aware of the potential dangers in all Internet-based communications and should learn the basic rules of Internet conduct.

A Beka Academy, based in Escambia County, northwest Florida, is an accredited homeschool academy that offers distance learning programs for Kindergarten through 12th Grade students. Parents can supervise and be involved in your child’s learning process at home. A manual with easy-to-follow, step-by-step instructions makes this possible. Christian character building textbooks from A Beka Books are used with DVD or Internet Video Streaming for a college preparatory education. Record-keeping and consultation services are available. A Beka Book textbooks, curriculums, and materials are based on results from reliable studies for traditional best practices (as opposed to a theoretical, experimental approach) and are validated by the measured success of thousands of students over decades of time.

Matlock Academy, West Palm Beach

Matlock Prep (MP) is a private college preparatory high school that offers a dedicated home-school program to students ages 16+ in the West Palm Beach / Fort Lauderdale-Miami metropolitan area of South Florida. We believe in the advantages of challenging and nurturing students, which we feel prepares the foundation for lifelong learning. Fundamental in our teaching is the development of independent thought. With our home-school program, students attend school three afternoons a week for several hours each time for specific instruction: one on one tutoring. Our home-schooling curriculum does include homework, which places emphasis on calling, faxing, or emailing questions to enable staff to respond on time. This service has been available to students for over twenty years and those that are accepted into the program do very well. The same outstanding and successful college admissions counseling is given by our experienced staff.
Encouraging thinking, imagination and creativity optimizes talent. Bright students need to have enrichment in every part of their high school curriculum through Advanced Placement and Honors courses.

American High School

American High School is a Florida-based private homeschool provider that delivers accredited, affordable, college preparatory and career-based online education for Grades 6-12 to students throughout the U.S. and around the world. Students receive both core curriculum and career-based online courses. We have over 300 online middle school and online high school courses.
