Certification / Accreditation: IAEI is approved by United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) to issue I-20s to international students. IAEI is also fully accredited by the Accrediting Council for Continuing Education and Training (ACCET), which is a non-profit organization recognized by the United States Department of Education.

IAEI partners with universities all over the United States to ensure your smooth transition to further education. Several of these partner universities waive the TOEFL requirement for IAEI graduates.

Beginning in December, 2008, IAEI will begin offering the Internet-Based TOEFL (IBT), making it the only testing site in Austin, Texas!.

Location: Austin is situated on the Colorado River in Central Texas, and is surrounded by a picturesque landscape of three man made lakes, limestone hills, rolling farmland and wineries. There are many beautiful state parks where you can go camping or hiking.  Go bike riding, running or strolling around Town Lake. For other water sports, visit Lake Austin or Lake Travis for sailing, water-skiing or boating. When you are feeling creative Austin has 33 art galleries, museums and theatres to choose from.

Austin’s climate is one that is very mild year-round, with warm summers and mild winters. The average temperature in July is usually around 84 degrees F (29 C) and the average temperature in January is 50 degrees F (29 C).

With 5 colleges and universities, it has an abundance of opportunities for those who want to further their academics, most notably the University of Texas, the largest university in the United States. Austin is also the home of numerous high-tech companies, like Dell, Samsung, Motorola and National Instruments.

We can direct you to apartment locators, local dormitories and co-ops, as well as a homestay option with an American family (limited space). Students should make housing arrangements before arriving in Austin.
