Lower School Program:
Getting started with a positive attitude about the whole learning experience is vital. Since many of our students are just beginning their formal education, we have focused on creating an environment which achieves this in two key ways––the care of our faculty for each student and a highly effective basics program integrated into a rich curriculum. Our students receive plenty of personal attention while our curriculum opens a wide world for them to explore. Each day is an adventure.

The Lower School covers Preschool through Form 2, or third grade. Entry into the preschool is possible after being potty trained.

Elementary School Program:
During their Elementary School years, students develop educational skills and habits that will stay with them for lives. It is also during this early period that their educational foundations in reading, writing and mathematics are made firm. The Elementary School is generally entered at about eight years of age and is completed by about eleven or twelve years of age. This includes Forms 3 and 4, covering the equivalent of fourth through sixth grade.

The Middle School years form the critical transition period from a student competent in the basics of reading, writing and mathematics to one who has not only fully mastered them, but is launching into more serious academic study. For Middle School students, our concentration is on maintaining the standard of those basic tools learned earlier, becoming focused and independent as a student, getting an increased conceptual understanding of how academic subjects integrate and relate to real life, and raising the student's willingness and ability to draw conclusions and make judgments.

Students generally enter the Middle School at the age of eleven and graduate to high school or The Delphian School's Upper School by fourteen years of age. Middle School is Forms 5 and 6, equivalent to grades seven through nine.

Summer Camp Programs:
Summer Camp is the perfect time to give Delphi Academy a try. Most of our regular school year curriculum is available to students, but we spend a lot of our time during the warm summer weeks just having fun. Our summer students are really more like campers.

Students come from all over the Chicago area for academic enrichment and a lot of summer fun. CamImage of Private School in Chicago area, Illinoisp is available for students from the age of four through twelve.
