Take evening Chinese classes with ABC Languages in downtown San Francisco and improve your Chinese language skills quickly! Conveniently located in the Financial District, ABC provides group Chinese classes in both Mandarin and Cantonese for adults of all levels - from total beginner to advanced. Private Chinese lessons and weekend Chinese classes for children and adults are also available.

Evening Chinese Classes:

• Total Beginner Group Classes:
- Mandarin Chinese Evening Classes

Classes meet once a week for 1.5 hours. (Minimum 3 / Maximum 10 students).

Designed for those with no previous exposure to Mandarin Chinese, our Total Beginner classes teach you basic grammar and vocabulary to develop conversational fluency and practical skills.

Instructors and materials use Pinyin and Simplified characters. You will begin character recognition/reading comprehension at the intermediate level.

- Cantonese Evening Classes
8 week course. Classes meet once a week for 1.5 hours. (Minimum 3 / Maximum 10 students).

• Above Beginner Group Classes:
If you are not a total beginner in Mandarin Chinese or Cantonese, your current level will need to be evaluated before we place you in the class that best suits you.

Standard Mandarin Chinese or Cantonese classes meet once a week for 1.5 hours.Classes with less than 3 students meet for an hour.

Other Evening Classes:
We also offer group classes and private lessons for children and adults in Japanese, Korean, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Farsi, Arabic, Russian, and other languages.

Bay Area School:
ABC Languages also provides group classes and private Chinese lessons at our school in downtown Menlo Park (serving Silicon Valley and the South Bay region of the San Francisco Bay Area, including Palo Alto, San Mateo, Sunnyvale, Mountain View, Santa Clara and San Jose).
