Conveniently situated in Chelsea, Manhattan West Side, ABC provides top-quality German classes in the evening for adults, business professionals or college students of all levels - from basic beginner to advanced. In addition, we offer private German lessons either in our school or at your Manhattan home or office. Daytime and weekend German classes are also available, as well as classes for kids and teens.

Our popular language school is situated at 146 West 29th Street in Chelsea, West Side (between 6th and 7th Avenues, near Penn Station, NoMad, Flatiron, Koreatown and Midtown Manhattan).

Evening German Classes for Adults:
Whatever your motivation for learning German, ABC Languages can help to make "alles klar"! Our German evening classes meet once a week for 1.5 hours.

•  Total Beginner German Classes:
You can choose to enroll for 6, 8, or 12 weeks. If you enroll for 12 weeks, you get 1 make-up class (a 13th consecutive class) for a missed lesson. 

Improve your conversational German by learning basic vocabulary and sentence structure in the present tense. You will also get an introduction to German cases.

Students who sign up for 8-12 week German courses will also cover irregular verbs in the present tense, question formation, and gain a deeper understanding and application of German cases.

•  Higher Beginner to Advanced German Classes:
The focus of all of our German classes is on conversation. If you are not a total beginner, we can assess your current level of German and recommend a class that we feel best meets your needs.

We keep our class sizes small (maximum of 9 students) to ensure that everyone gets ample opportunity to practice their German conversation skills and to get to know their teacher and classmates through German.

We have a rolling admission policy which allows you to start your German classes anytime!
