While distinguished by its international emphasis, this BA degree is also in keeping with the tradition of American business education. Required courses are balanced between the theoretical and practical.

All courses emphasize the importance of accurate and clear communication, both oral and written, and require reports, projects, and/or formal presentations. 

Small class sizes permit most of the upper-level courses to focus on active learning through teamwork and class discussion.

Students majoring in Business Administration may select a field of concentration, which is comprised of at least three major electives in the same discipline.
