Preparation for Masters Course:
Course Duration: 1 term or 2 terms

Before you are offered a place on this pre-masters course, the MA pathway leader will determine your suitability for Masters level. 

You will then be offered an individual programme of learning, usually taught over 2 terms, and designed specifically to prepare you for your future Masters application. 

This course introduces you to the creative arts education at university in the UK, and helps you to gain confidence as a creative arts student within a specialist field.

You will improve your knowledge of British culture and the arts to appreciate the range of cultural influences, as well as experiencing for yourself what it is like to live and study in the UK.

If you do not have the required academic experience, this course helps you to fully understand the study skills required at Masters level. 

You will improve your creative skills and portfolio to meet the level required for postgraduate study in a subject different from your undergraduate degree. In addition, you will Improve your academic English level. 

On selected modules of this course, you will join undergraduate students to refine individual capabilities.

Your tutors will provide ongoing support and mentoring to help you to improve sufficiently for the Masters course. You are required to pass all elements of the Preparation course before being accepted onto the Masters program.
