Delivered in English, Italian or Spanish, our summer ceramics course is taught by expert instructors. You can combine different courses during your stay. If you study for two weeks or more, you may be eligible for university or college credit.

Ceramics Summer Course:
Taught in English, Italian or Spanish. Study for 2 / 4 / 6 / 8 / 12 weeks. 

In our unique summer course, you will learn simple hand twisting techniques for creating ceramics using terra cotta. You will get to experience the feel of Italian clay.

For your artistic and technical development, Accademia Riaci provides excellent ceramics facilities.

We have equipment available for mold making, wheel work, and slip casting projects. In addition, we have large kilns for sculpture and hand building.

Our instructors have decades of experience as pottery professionals, and have participated in several group and solo exhibitions. They teach their students with genuine enthusiasm and a love for their craft.

The course is divided into two parts:

- 22 lessons per week with your instructors in which you learn to understand technique, skills and art.

- 22 lessons per week of independent study in which students work alone to develop their own works following the teacher's instruction.
