International Summer School for Teens in Scotland, London & Oxford UK:Learn creative coding and programming in Scotland UK in summer 2024. International Summer School for Teens provides residential, academic and creative-based summer camps in Stirling, Scotland (just 40 minutes from Edinburgh). Our 3-week summer camp programs for high school age students (ages 12-17) welcome participants of all levels from the UK, Europe, U.S., and around the world.

3-week Summer Introduction to Coding Course:
- For boys & girls ages 12-17
- Must be combined with either English Language, Journalism, Introduction to Law, Business Leadership and Innovation, Environmental Science (Sustainability and Conservation), or Pre-IB / Pre GCSE Study Skills.

Introduction to Coding is an introductory class for students interested in computer science, mathematics and general science.
Students will learn the fundamentals of coding (programming), theory, language and animation. They will work on projects ranging from Game Design to App Development, gaining an understanding of STEM and future career opportunities.
Topics / Modules include:
- Learn the fundamentals of coding
- Programming logic, language and animation
- Basic programming languages such as Python and Java.
- Work on mini projects including game design and app development
- Learn how to plan and write programming code
- Develop your logic, problem solving and analytical skills
- An Introduction to STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics)
- Make new friends in a fun, friendly and student centred environment
- Students will learn the fundamentals of coding theory, language and animation
