We offer Italian courses for students from around the world including intensive Italian courses, CILS exam preparation classes and private Italian lessons. We also offer Italian cooking courses which can be taken on their own or can be combined with our Italian language courses. We offer two types of Italian cookery courses - Professional Italian Cooking Courses for those who are interested in a professional career in the culinary industry and Italian Cooking Courses For Non-Professionals which are designed for amateur cooks who love Italian food.

Torre di Babele offers practical individual Itali

an cooking courses in the home of the cooking instructor. These cookery courses are designed for those who love Italian food and want to learn to prepare traditional dishes (pizza, pasta, appetizers, meat, fish, vegetables, desserts, etc.).
Each class lasts three hours during which a complete menu is prepared - aperitif, appetizer, first and second courses, vegetables and dessert - and eaten (lunch or dinner). These courses can be booked in advance and can take place at any point throughout the year, except August. The number of cooking classes will be decided by the student.
Professional Italian Cooking Courses:
Torre di Babele offers professional Italian cooking courses designed for those who are interested in a professional career as a chef, pastry chef or pizza maker. The courses take place at an Italian cooking school in Rome that is recognized by the Lazio Chefs Association. Courses begin in January, April & September.
The Italian cooking courses being offered are as follows:
Cook: Basic, Intermediate and Advanced Levels. These are practical courses teaching basic and more advanced cooking techniques
Pastry Chef: Basic course - Under the instructor's guidance, students prepare: creams, classic pies, puddings, base doughs, chocolates, semifreddi (soft ice-cream), decorations, salty and tea pastries.
Pizza Maker: Basic course: a practical course to learn to make pizza by the slice, slow-rising or traditionally-made round pizzas and fried foods.
Hands-on workshops in restaurants and pizzerias are also included. Each professional course includes a final exam and certificate.
