Kappa is a Certified Learning Center of Dante Alighieri, meeting quality standards in teaching Italian as a foreign language, recognized by Ministry of Foreign Affairs and authorized to issue certificates and host exam sessions.

- University for Foreigners of Perugia:
Kappa is accredited by the University for Foreigners of Perugia for the issuance of the CELI, Certificate of knowledge of the Italian language.

- Enrico Piciarelli
Enrico graduated in Italian Language and Literature at the “Roma Tre” University, and completed a Masters Degree in history of Italian Language and Comparative Literature. From 2006 to 2009 he cooperated with “Bambini nel Tempo”, a Children's Therapeutic Aid Society.

- Alessia Accorrà
Alessia graduated in Italian Studies at "La Sapienza” University and since 2007 she has been studying Japanese Language and Culture. She has attained DITALS Certificate for teaching Italian as a Second and Foreign Language.


Our Teaching Method:
We advocate a Communicative-Situational approach - where grammatical content is associated to a daily conversational situation, serving both as a motivating element and the lesson's aim. Original and purposefully-created learning material is often used.

We offer our students the chance to find a comfortable accommodation in the city center at a very convenient price. Students can choose between the following options:

Homestay (2-person shared room)
Spend your time in Italy with an Italian family: the best way to improve your Italian! Apartments for homestay are generally located in the Monteverde, Trastevere Colosseo or Prati areas, all well connected with the school's neighbourhood (Colosseo) by subway, tram or bus.

Apartment  (Single and Double)
All accommodations are located in the city centre and served by bus, tram and subway lines. The distance may vary from less than 1km to 5km maximum, so be sure to rent in advance, especially during high season. Students may choose to rent a single or double room, with private or shared bathroom.

Fixed discount for those who book 3, 6 or 12 months of Italiano Standard course:

3 months - 10%
6 months - 15%
12 months - 20%

The following categories will gain a fixed discount on the course fee:

- 10% for students enrolled at Italian High Schools all over the world, foreigners married or related to italian citizens and foreigners with italian origins.
- 15% for students of Italian studies, for students enrolled at the "Accademia delle Belle Arti" and at the "Roma Tre" University, for au pairs and for Associna members.
