Crossing Borders offers Mandarin Chinese language immersion programs and after-school enrichment classes for toddlers, kids, teens and adults in The Woodlands and North Houston area. Also, we offer private Chinese language tutoring for students from pre-kindergarten to college level.

Year-round Mandarin Chinese language classes for kids & teens:
Here, students learn to communicate in Mandarin through dialogues, phrases, expressions, drills, etc. that they can use with friends and family. Besides learning vocabulary, our specialized classes include conversation skills.

Mandarin for Babies (6 months - 12 months)
Because infants learn best when they can participate in activities, in our Baby Mandarin classes the children will be encouraged to participate in familiar nursery rhymes (as well as other cultural tunes), see and use various musical instruments, and enjoy many other visuals.

Mandarin Mommy & Me (18 months - 3 years)
Learn Chinese with your toddler! Perfect for children who have begun verbalizing in their own language, these high-energy, 45 minute classes focus on age-appropriate learning activities, songs, and lots of fun games ‐ all in Mandarin!

Mandarin Chinese Preschool Immersion Program (18 months - 5 years)
Our Mandarin immersion preschool students receive age-appropriate instruction while learning Mandarin Chinese, and participate in traditional preschool activities with a teacher who delivers the majority of instruction in Chinese with minimal English support.

Private Mandarin Lessons:
Our highly-qualified and experienced Mandarin tutors can come to your home to provide private classes for 1-10 children. Many of our students have made their own after-school program at their own location, getting together with other family members or neighbors.

We meet once or twice a week or as many hours as you need us. You pick the day and the time that you want us to go to do classes, so you save time, money on gas and the hassle of rushing to get to a scheduled class on time.

Mandarin Chinese Summer Camps (ages 7-15)
Offered during the months of June, July and August, our camps are designed to give children & teenagers a unique opportunity to spend their summer break having fun learning Mandarin Chinese or improving their current skills. 

Our summer camps are staffed by experienced and qualified teachers, and kids are grouped according to age, level, and language proficiency.

Students receive age-appropriate instruction while learning Mandarin. Our students participate in traditional activities with a teacher who delivers the majority of instruction in Mandarin, with minimal English support.

Students are able to learn their new language the natural way, picking up words and phrases as they participate in fun activities!
