DITALS II Exam Preparation Course - Italian Language Teacher Training:
30 hour course is taught over three weekends, with five hours of classes per day.
Monitored by the University for Foreigners of Siena, this course consists of a series of modules that are intended to provide a solid theoretical and practical basis, not only for the DITALS II exam but also for classroom teaching practice.

Entry Requirements:
Applicants must possess a bachelor’s degree or, alternatively, the DITALS Certification Level I for at least two respects. Non-native Italian speakers also require level C2 of the Common European Framework of Reference or alternatively, the Certification DIT / CILS C1.

Theoretical aspects:
- The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages; approaches, methods and models
- Language teaching techniques and strategies
- The role of the teacher
- The analysis of learning materials
- Intercultural teaching in mixed classes
- Group dynamics & more..

Practical aspects (guided exercises / simulations):
- Overview and analysis of teaching materials
- Didactics of the text, design and creation of educational materials
- Laboratory body
