Conveniently located in the heart of Florence, Italy, ABC DE' Conti is an Italian language and culture school. Part of Accademia Riaci, a leading academy of art and design, we provide Italian language courses for all - from beginners to students at professional level who aspire to become interpreters, from those who would like to learn Italian used in everyday life, to technical Italian used in specific fields of art and design. Our Italian language courses feature the extensive and intensive teaching of Standard Italian, Technical Italian, and Interpreter Training.

Italian Language Courses:
- Basic Beginner, Elementary, Intermediate to Advanced levels

Basic Italian Standard Course (1 week) - General Italian classes for all levels
After your level of Italian is checked, students study General Italian in small classes. The lessons put equal importance on conversation, grammatical rules, writing and listening.

The class size is limited to 15 students for group courses and 8 for semi-private courses. It is fit for those intending to learn Italian while enjoying other activities. 

Group - 80 lessons / 4 weeks; Semi-Private - 60 lessons / 4 weeks; Private - 30 lessons


Basic Italian Intensive Course (4 weeks) - General Italian classes for all levels 
Students will take 150 lessons in 4 weeks in very small class, as well as more assignments.

The learning speed is expected to be faster than taking the same number of lessons over longer period.

Semi-Private - 150 lessons / 4 week; Private - 75 lessons / 4 week


Specialized Italian Course (4 weeks)
This is a course to overcome the difficulty many students encounter after learning basic Italian when they go on to study specific fields in Italy or to use their Italian language in their business, because many languages schools do not provide vocabularies or usage of Italian specific to some fields.

This course is designed for those who are going to continue studying in artistic fields, as well as those preparing for internships.

The examples of specialized fields you can choose from are: Jewelry, Painting, Interior Design, Stained Glass, Pottery, Leather Art, Restoration of Painting, Display, Fashion, Culinary Arts, etc.


Italian Plus Program - Ideal for beginners:
For all who wish to study in Italy, live in it, and savor its wonders, this program offers a chance to make it happen, with a much more affordable price!

You will not only learn to speak Italian from the very basic level, you will also learn to prepare delicious Italian home cuisine (once a month), tour local foods and restaurants or discover various charms of Italy with guided visits (once a month).

Experience the attraction of Italy that you can only know by living in it! The program includes:

- Basic Italian lessons:
The students study basic Italian from the first level in small classes. From practical conversation, how to shop, how to ask the ways, number, etc.you will learn Italian step by step, and at the end of the course, you will be able to use intermediate to high level Italian.

Robust language skills are built up through 20 lessons per week conducted in classes of a maximum of 15 students, or 15 semi-private lessons per week in classes of a maximum of 8 students. (1 lesson=45 minutes)

- Toscana homemade cooking (monthly)
If you live in Italy, it is an excellent opportunity to learn Italian dishes. We offer opportunities to learn easy and delicious Italian full-course dishes with 4 or 5 recipes every time, starting from appetizer, pasta, main dish, and dessert. Instructors are well-known cuisine professionals in Florence.

Lessons are held in the kitchen of the instructor’s place with a cheerful and casual atmosphere, and you can enjoy tasting your food over wine afterwards.

Even beginners can prepare excellent Italian dishes and may fall in love with cooking. Enjoy delicious Italy.

- Panoramic Visit (monthly)
Intriguing guided tours explore many attractions of town, arts and nature in Florence in Toscana!

- Basic English conversation lessons:
2 lessons per day, two days per week x 24 weeks - optional for non-native English speakers

Specialized 'Technical' Italian Classes:
In the “Technical Terms” course, the students will learn Italian technical terms in 13 specialized fields - according to the student’s specialization. Small Group classes: Small-group (2 to 8 students), private (1 student)
