This unique Masters program includes 8 academic weeks of study in POLIMODA in Florence, Italy, 30 academic weeks of study in IFA in Shanghai, China and 2 academic weeks of study in IFA in Paris, France. Classes in every country are taught in English. This program is 1,500 hours in duration and offers 80 ECTS Credits.

Dual Degree Award on Graduation:
On graduation, students are awarded a Masters in Luxury Brands Management from POLIMODA srl and an MBA in Luxury Brands Management from IFA Paris.

Course Content:
Students will examine the world’s most successful luxury brands in depth and learn the techniques companies use to distinguish their brands in the luxury field. Students will explore the unique factors involved in building and maintaining a luxury brand in the competitive global environment.

They will cover the principles of luxury and its growth to consumer psychology, strategic and integrated marketing, creative foundations of luxury brands as well as distribution and channel management.  The course also includes tours of luxury companies.

- The Masters’ program is open to those holding a valid university Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in marketing, business administration, communication or design.
- English fluency is required.
- For students who lack a university degree, a solid work experience in luxury or fashion marketing or management is a prerequisite for enrollment.

ECTS Credits:
This program is 1,500 hours in duration and offers 80 ECTS Credits. The European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS) grading system is based on the principle that 60 credits measure the workload of a full-time student in 1 academic year. ECTS credits can only be obtained after successful completion of the required work and appropriate assessment of the learning outcomes achieved.

MBA / Masters Degree Program in Fashion Business - 1-year intensive program:

Picture of Fashion Business Master's Programs in Florence, ItalyThis MBA / Masters program is offered by IFA Paris in Shanghai in association with POLIMODA and offers students a unique opportunity to develop skills and gain an in depth understanding of fashion’s fastest emerging market – China.

Students will study for 30 academic weeks in IFA Paris in Shanghai followed by 8 academic weeks in POLIMODA in Florence, which is one of Europe’s oldest and most dynamic fashion centers. They will then study for 2 academic weeks at IFA in Paris, France. This program is 1,500 hours in duration and offers 80 ECTS Credits.

Students gain invaluable knowledge in merchandising, strategic marketing, product design, retail management, distribution and other related industry modules such as buying and luxury theory & practice. Italian language courses are offered at IFA Paris to prepare you before embarking on the 8-week session in Italy.

The MBA / Masters in Fashion Business course is offered entirely in English. There are, on average, 20 hours of classes per week. Besides, students spend a large amount of time working on personal and group projects, reading, preparing classes and reviewing for exams. There are two intakes a year, in July and October and we admit only 25 students per intake. Consequently, admission can be competitive.

Course Content:
This is a multidisciplinary Fashion Business program covering merchandising, buying, marketing, retail, distribution as well as other fashion business related modules. During the program, students will have the opportunity to work on industry sponsored projects in cooperation with international brands in China, attend fashion events and visit design studios as well as leading brands stores.
