Torre di Babele offers special Italian courses for groups of high school and university students, and also for company employees. These courses offer not only the study of the Italian language in Italy but also a wide range of cultural activities whic

h takes account of the specific requests and interests of the course participants.
Exchange activities with Italian students and visits to Italian schools are also arranged for groups of high school students; the Italian cultural program for university students revolves around their field of study. Torre di Babele also participates in the various exchange programs financed by the European Community.
Italian Language Courses:
Italian courses vary in the number of hours per week and whether they are in group and/or individual lessons. Our Italian courses begin every two weeks and have an average of 7 to 8 persons and a maximum of 12. Lessons are held mornings and afternoons from Monday through Friday.
Two different teachers of Italian conduct the language courses daily, each one teaches two hours at a time and each hour of a lesson lasts 50 minutes. Our Italian courses are offered at all levels (intensive, super-intensive, CILS preparation etc) and participants come from different nationalities which enriches the learning experience by sharing original ideas from each student's background.
Cultural Activities:
Besides the Italian language courses, the following cultural activities are offered on a regular basis:
- Introduction to Rome: the town, its services, and its cultural events.
- Guided tours of Rome: Art history itinerary; Italian architecture itinerary.
- Italian Cinema: Presentation and viewing of films of representative Italian directors
- Italian Literature: The new Italian writers.
- The Regions of Italy: history, culture, traditions, and life today.
- Excursions during the week-end to Naples, Pompeii, Orvieto, Florence and to the seaside
