Athletics coaching is available in all track & field disciplines, with options to try out a wide range of events, or gain individual instruction in your main event. You also have the option to take English language lessons alongside your athletic coaching.

Loughborough University in Leicestershire is located just 160km / 100 miles north of London, and is within comfortable reach from London, Leicester, Derby, Nottingham, Birmingham, Coventry, Wolverhampton, Burton upon Trent. 

Athletics Summer Camp - For boys and girls ages 10-18 years old

• After some extraordinary athletic performances during the London 2012 Olympics, Let Me Play are keen to assist the next generation of potential gold medallists who are no doubt inspired by our GB athletes.

• Regardless of athletic ability or current experience in the sport, the camp aspires to help all athletes develop both core strength and fitness, as well as specific techniques and skills required for their chosen event/s.

• Our 2018 athletics camp hopes to benefit from state-of-the-art facilities boasting both indoor and outdoor tracks, as well as extensive throws and jumps areas.

• What’s more, participants will be able to experience training in the same facilities used by some of our GB athletes.

• Our professional coaches can help participants to progress in their preferred events, or can introduce new events and techniques to participants who would like to train or compete in more than one discipline.  

What to expect on camp:
- Train in one of UK Athletics’ National Performance Centres
- Core training sessions as well as individual instruction in your main event/events
- Highly qualified coaches, including professional and ex-professional GB athletes
- The camp caters for all athletic disciplines
- Lectures and workshops that stress the importance of track and field fundamentals
- Fitness Testing (Lab & Field tests)
- Injury Prevention and Rehab Advice
- Awards – presented in the closing ceremony

English Language Courses:
English language courses are also available with each camp. If you would like to place your child on a special English language study course whilst he / she is on camp, please contact us for further information.

Qualified teachers will spend 1.5 hours with your child each day studying and learning to speak the English language. Your child will then spend the rest of the day and evening as a regular member of the athletics camp.
