In addition to providing English as a Second Language classes and student housing, MESLS can arrange airport pickup service. At the student's request, a MESLS representative will meet him or her when he or she arrives at the Madison airport.
Each session, MESLS organizes many activities and programs for the students. These activities promote interaction among the students and enable them to make friends and practice their English skills.
Since Madison weather includes all four seasons, activities vary from session to session. In the winter, activities often involve fun in the snow, such as skiing and sledding. In the spring, fall, and summer, the choice of outdoor activities is quite large and ranges from picnics and hiking to organized games.
Every session also has a movie night and a major trip to a nearby city, such as Milwaukee or Chicago. These trips often involve, but are not limited to, sightseeing, shopping, and museum touring.
