International Language Institute (ILI) offers a comprehensive 8-week TESOL / TEFL certificate program in Washington, DC. This 120-hour TEFL teacher training course is designed to equip you with the skills you will need to teach English as a Second Language (ESL) in the United States or abroad. The course is offered every 8 weeks, year round. This 120-hour course centers on practice in teaching the four basic language skills of reading, writing, speaking and listening and the sub skills of vocabulary, pronunciation and grammar. In addition to our ESL certification program, we offer a range of English courses to students from around the world.

8-week / 120-hour TESOL / TEFL Certification Program:
The course centers on practice in teaching the four basic language skills of speaking, listening, reading and writing, as well as the sub-skills of pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar.

• 48 classroom hours (every Tuesday and Thursday from 6 - 9 pm)
