Singaporeans who lose their passport may apply for a Document of Identity (temporary passport) from the Embassy. To support the application the following is required:

• A copy of the police report on the loss of the passport;
• Two passport-sized colour photographs (instant photos are acceptable);
• Documentary proof of applicant's citizenship, e.g. National Registration Identity Card (NRIC);

A fee is chargeable for issue of the document of identity.

Benelux (Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg) travel document holders are required to apply for a visa to visit Singapore.
Documents required:

• Completed visa application form 14 with 2 colour photographs attached;
• Copy of a letter of introduction (form V39) completed by a contact in Singapore;
• Copy of air ticket showing flight itinerary to and from Singapore;
• Copy of Passport page showing personal particulars and Resident Permit;
• Applicant's contact details (Phone number, e-mail)

A fee of EUR 18/- per visa will be charged, and the payment is required at the time of submission. The fee is not refundable.

The processing of visa applications would take approximately 15 working days from the date of receipt of complete applications. Some applications may take longer if more verification of information is required by immigration authorities in Singapore.

The Embassy is closed on Saturdays, Sundays and on Belgian Holidays. The Embassy is also closed on Singapore National Day (9 August).
