Singaporeans who have lost their passport can apply for a temporary travel document called a Document of Identity (DOI) at the Embassy. The following are required:

• Police report;
• 2 passport sized photographs on white background;
• Personal particulars as given in your NRIC & NRIC number.
• Fee - 9 Euros per DOI (Payment only by cash or local cheque). 

Visitors must satisfy the following basic entry requirements before they can be considered for entry into Singapore:

• A passport with at least 6 months validity
• Valid Singapore visa, if applicable
• Sufficient funds to last for the intended period of stay in Singapore
• Confirmed onward/return tickets (where applicable)
• Entry facilities to their onward destinations, e.g. visas.
• Completed Disembarkation/Embarkation Card
• Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate, if applicable

Citizens of France do not need visas to visit Singapore.

Most documents that do not originate from Singapore have first to be legalised by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs before they can be legalised by the Singapore Embassy. The contact details of the relevant French department are:
