Consular services provided by the Embassy:

• Issuance/renewal of passports;
• Issuance of residence permits;
• Issuance/renewal of certificates of identity;
• Dealing with citizenship matters;
• Assistance to Singaporeans in distress;
• Registration of Singaporeans abroad;
• Notarial services.

If Singaporean citizen loses or gets his/her passport stolen, he/she will need to do the following:

1. Lodge a police report and retain a copy of the report.
2. Have at least one passport-sized photograph ready. Instant photographs are acceptable.
3. Report to the Singaporean Embassy's Consular Section with the copy of police report, photograph and documentary proof of citizenship and identity - preferably with his/her photograph on it, e.g. identity card.

Citizens of Russia require a visa to visit Singapore. The criteria for visa application and documentation are:

1. Applicant's original international passport with a minimum of 6 months of validity at the time of entering Singapore,
2. 1 copy of correctly completed visa application forms 14A with 1 copy of a recent coloured photograph,
3. Proof of confirmed flight itinerary and accommodation,
4. Letter of Introduction from a Singaporean citizen, Singapore registered company/travel agent/permanent resident, or a foreigner holding a valid Singapore "green card", and
5. The required visa fee of SGD30 / USD23 or equivalent in RUB.

Russians or nationals from the CIS, Turkmenistan, Ukraine and Georgia who are on transit in Singapore but intend to enter Singapore are advised to apply for a visa.
