Duration: 1 term, 2 terms, or 3 terms.
AUB offers a three-year Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Fine Art where international students can join our full-time degree students for one or more terms. Courses start in September and January each year and coincide with the academic timetable.

The Semester Study Abroad Fine Art course is underpinned by three strands: studio practice, cultural theory and professional development, and encourages ambitious individual practice.
Fundamental elements of visual language are introduced and explored through engagement with materials, processes and the current theoretical context of Fine Art.
The emphasis of this course is placed on thoughtful experimentation and making in the studio and the development of ideas.
You will record observations or concepts through several methods such as photography, video/film, drawing, use of text, casting or painting.
A series of provocative workshops and seminars will expand your approaches to observation and interpreting information. You will develop research and study skills, and become an active learner, working both independently and collaboratively.
In this course, you will examine a variety of issues relating to current fine art practice from key conceptual concerns and critical debate, to research processes, practical methodologies, and operating successfully in the professional arena.
Whilst an independent investigative involvement will be expected from you, you will be introduced to commentaries and debates through a series of elective seminars.
University / College Credit:
On successful completion of a semester course, you will be given a "transcript of marks" showing the credits you have earned at the AUB. It may be possible to transfer credits earned on modules completed at the AUB to your own university.
