The Consulate-General of the Republic of Singapore safeguards the interests of Singaporeans visiting, living and working in Tel Aviv and promotes bilateral, political, economic and cultural links between Singapore and Israel.
Consular services provided by the Embassy:
- Issuance/renewal of passports;
- Issuance of residence permits;
- Issuance/renewal of certificates of identity;
- Dealing with citizenship matters;
- Assistance to Singaporeans in distress;
- Registration of Singaporeans abroad;
- Notarial services.
In case of lost passport abroad, Singaporean citizens should immediately report it to the nearest Singapore overseas mission. Passports reported lost cannot be used, even if later recovered. Under the Passports Act (Chapter 220), Singaporean citizens must report a lost passport within 14 days of losing it.
Documents required:
- Documentary proof of Singapore citizenship (for example, an Identity Card or a Singapore citizenship certificate)
- Two passport-sized colour photographs taken within the last three months
- A police report (if the applicant is a victim of crime, e.g. theft) or a statutory declaration at overseas mission
Israeli citizens do not need visas to visit Singapore.
