The Consulate-General of the Republic of Singapore safeguards the interests of Singaporeans visiting, living and working in Mexico City and promotes bilateral, political, economic and cultural links between Singapore and Mexico D.F.

Consular services provided by the Embassy:

  • Issuance/renewal of passports;
  • Issuance of residence permits;
  • Issuance/renewal of certificates of identity;
  • Dealing with citizenship matters;
  • Assistance to Singaporeans in distress;
  • Registration of Singaporeans abroad;
  • Notarial services.

Singaporeans who lost their passport abroad should immediately report it to the nearest Singapore Overseas Mission. Passports reported lost cannot be used, even if later recovered.

Documents required for a new passport:

  • Documentary proof of Singapore citizenship (for example, an Identity Card or a Singapore citizenship certificate)
  • Two passport-sized colour photograph taken within the last three months.
  • A police report (if applicant is a victim of a crime, e.g. theft) or a statutory declaration at Overseas Mission

Citizens of Mexico do not need visas to visit Singapore.
